Acoustic laminate is a CIP laminated glass specifically designed to reduce sound intrusion into buildings. Soundstop acoustic glass consists of two glass thicknesses with a 1.0mm or 1.5mm limpid acoustic resin interlayer. This product has excellent sound reduction properties due to the elastic nature of the special interlayer. This Uvekol acoustic resin interlayer acts as a sound damper, enhancing performance and reducing the effects of sympathetic vibration which is the frequency at which a piece of glass vibrates and becomes transparent to particular sounds.

Acoustic Soundstop is ideally suited to applications where noise prevents normal conversation, relaxation and efficient working conditions such as in houses, offices, hotels, motels, hospitals and recording studios.

Acoustic Soundstop is manufactured to order and can be glazed into standard timber or aluminium frames as long as a clean rebate and adequate drainage is provided.
